都會通勤未來藍圖付諸實現！HONDA Micro Commuter原型車秋天開始測試

都會城市因為生活機能良好、交通便利、工作機會充足等因素成為了許多人的選擇定居的所在，不過也因為都市人口的快速擴張，致使通勤成為了許多上班族、學生往返公司、學校與住家之間的一大課題，而2011年東京車展中，HONDA發表了一款描繪未來都會通勤概念的Micro Commuter Concept，更在不到一年的時間就將推出了Micro Commuter Prototype原型車款，並通過了日本國土交通省（MLIT）的認證，如今近日原廠也確認將在今年秋天開始進行實車測試，逐步將未來的夢想付諸實現。
原廠在近日宣布將開始於日本埼玉市、以及先前已經簽屬測試協議的熊本縣、沖繩縣宮都島市逐步進行實地測試，目前原廠正與政府相關部門著重於細節的討論，包含每個區域的適應路況、基礎建設的完善與否等，以及最重要的HONDA智能住宅系統（HSHS）也會一併進行實際測試。
而這輛參與測試的車輛是Micro Commuter Prototype β，車身尺碼為2500×1250×1445mm，車內空間規定僅能容納2為成人或是1位成人加2為兒童，嬌小迷你的身軀也方便在都會交通中發揮機動性，並藉由HONDA的「Variable Design Platform」的設計平台，依照消費者的需求推出各式各樣的車體，包括、具備一大兩小座位的親子車型、承載能力的迷你貨卡車型、提供年長駕駛需求的車型與因應汽車共享通勤理念的標準車型等。
動力系統方面配置了小型電動馬達及15kW鋰電池電池模組，極速可達80km/h、並具備最高達60km的續航里程，且充電時間低於3小時。Micro Commuter Prototype β主要針對短程運輸的電動車，HONDA也會根據MLIT所建議的歐洲市場進行「L7」級距車型（車重在不含電池模組的情況下低於400kg、且電池模組輸出功率低於15kW）的開發計畫，HONDA也表示致力於開發未來都會通勤車輛，並且大量減少對環境的影響的城市規劃。
