儘管七代喜美車系已經快要改款，不過在北美中小型房車市場上，依舊是銷售表現相當優異的車款，北美本田為了要提升產品的競爭力，特別在2005年式車系的房車與轎跑車版本上，追加了列為例行生產的運動版本特仕車款！
在配備方面，2005年式新增的房車與轎跑車款的精裝版本，就先針對原廠汽車音響進行升級的動作，並且將前置式六片裝高級CD唱盤列為標準配備，更同時具備了MP3的播放功能，另外消費者也可以用優惠價選購衛星廣播系統。
此外，原廠也針對真皮方向盤與排檔頭、手煞車拉柄進行質感升級的動作，還特地導入了全車空力套件與專屬式樣的鍛造鋁圈等配備，當然還有特仕車款專屬的車身銘牌，另外北美本田更推出三款全新的車身顏色，不過其中兩種僅開放給特仕車款選用！
