HONDA CR-Z日本年度風雲車封王，VW Polo緊追在後

向來被消費者視為購車指標、也堪稱東方車壇年度奧斯卡的日本年度風雲車COTY（Car Of The Year），2010-2011年的評選終於出爐，HONDA CR-Z以非常懸殊的得分拿下，德國VW Polo也以些微差距拿下年度進口車。
在60名評審沒眠沒夜地選出TOYOTA Mark X、NISSAN March、HONDA CR-Z、MAZDA Premacy、SUZUKI Swift、VW Polo、M-BENZ E350 Blue TEC Avantgarde、BMW 5 Sedan/Touring、PEUGEOT RCZ、JAGUAR XJ 等10輛最後入圍車後，2010-2011的年度風雲車終於出爐，由HONDA CR-Z以406分拿下，而VW Polo則以397分些許差距飲恨，但也獲得年度風雲進口車的殊榮。根據了解，兩款車差距僅9分，這正好是一個評審所能給予的分數，因此就有媒體戲稱「正好一人決定生死」。
另外CR-Z與Polo兩車的分數與第三的SUZUKI Swift相差非常懸殊，可見得其他八款車是出來陪榜。這回CR-Z是繼2009-2010年度得主TOYOTA Prius後第二款Hybrid車，之所能以高分脫穎而出獲得評審青睞，主要是今年度將環保節能列入評選項目，放眼望去最後入圍的10款車中，也僅有CR-Z最符合這個條件。除了CR-Z與Polo分別獲得年度風雲車/年度進口車榮耀，PEUGEOT RCZ也拿下評審團的特別賞，畢竟造型最為突出。

不過這幾年許多國家民眾對於年度風雲車都產生質疑，因為獲選為年度風雲車的車款似乎在銷售上都不甚靈光，甚至還出現「買票」的嫌疑，至於消費者會不會因冠上「年度風雲車」頭銜而去購買，相信應該不會！
