HONDA中國東風本田七年累計生產100萬輛達成！

由中國東風汽車與日本HONDA合資成立的東風本田，在2004年開始運作至今已有七年時間，這中間雖然歷經金融海嘯、罷工潮、能源危機、日本311強震，但卻也無法撼動HONDA經營中國的企圖心， 因此在2555個日子裡，東風本田總計生產100萬輛的HONDA車！
打從2004年導入CR-V在中國進行國產化開始，東風本田在當地市場成績斐然，2006年Civic思域、2009年Spirior思鉑銳（歐規Accord）陸續加入在地化生產行列，使得HONDA在短時間內創造驚人成績特別是CR-V，從2004年開始已經累計生產達50萬輛，也就是說這100萬輛中有一半是CR-V的功勞，也難怪到2007年為止CR-V都拿下中國SUV市場連續四年銷售冠軍。
在東風本田成立初期，僅設定3萬輛的年產能，隨著CR-V大受歡迎，及Civic也投入戰局，2006年則增加至12萬輛，爾後經營有成的東風本田更在2010年將產能增加為24萬輛，現在第二工廠正興建中，2012年起將有10萬輛年產能，2013年則增加至12萬輛。因此在生產基地完工後，2013年起東風本田將擁有年產能36萬輛的規模，這幾乎是台灣汽車整體市場的年銷售量。
目前HONDA在中國共有東風本田、廣州本田與本田中國三大體系，年產能總計為65萬輛，預計待東風本田第二工廠啟動後，2013年HONDA於中國市場將具有89萬輛的年產實力，當然隨著中國市場越來越成熟，口碑和形象不錯的HONDA挑戰100萬輛年產能應該指日可待。
