巴西籍傳奇車手Ayrton Senna於1991年獲得他人生最後一個F-1世界冠軍，駕以奪冠的McLaren HONDA MP4/6賽車1992年遭到解體，藝術家Jay Burridge取得部分零件，並製作成裝置藝術。英國知名COYS國際拍賣公司將於2011年8月13日，在德國Nurburgring拍賣這件極具價值的藝術品。

談到史上最偉大的F-1賽車手，相信許多人會首先想到Ayrton Senna的大名。Ayrton Senna以特立獨行、險中求勝的高超技術，獲得許多賽車迷支持；與法國車手Alain Prost的明爭暗鬥，更在當年F-1賽事屢創高潮。1994年5月1日，F-1聖馬利諾大獎賽，Ayrton Senna賽中失控衝出跑道，以217 km/h的速度重撞水泥護牆，折斷的懸掛支架插破了他的安全帽，送醫後不治死亡。

雖然Ayrton Senna十七年前便不幸過世，但三度奪取F-1世界冠軍的驍勇戰蹟，仍活在許多車迷心中。2010年上映的紀錄片「Senna」描繪了Ayrton Senna的傳奇一生，也再度激起大眾對這名巴西車神的興趣。而Jay Burridge以他1991年最後一冠的戰騎McLaren MP4/6為素材，製作成一件巨大的裝置藝術，對廣大的F-1車迷來說具有極大價值。

Ayrton Senna不僅是目前最後一位在賽事中喪生的F-1車手，也是目前最後一位在賽事中喪生的F-1世界冠軍。然而，即使人亡車毀，奪冠車McLaren MP4/6的殘餘零件卻以藝術形式昇華，經COYS國際拍賣公司推上競標舞台，得以長久保存於世。COYS預估將以30,000至50,000英鎊（約合新台幣141萬至236萬元）成交。
