    車廠看Hybrid效應,DAIMLERCHRYSLER還要等一等

石油價格上揚,美國消費者從一開始的靜觀其變,到最近對Hybrid省油車款的強烈興趣,意味著美國車廠必須加速生產Hybrid油電車,來滿足市場上日益龐大的需求量。

FORD將跟隨TOYOTA和HONDA的腳步,在2008年以前預計將有八款Hybrid車種在市場上流動。就連起步較晚的GM和NISSAN,至少也會推出一個Hybrid車款,反觀與FORD、GM併列美國三大車廠之一的DAIMLERCHRYSLER,卻要等到2008年以後才打算推出Hybrid車款,原因為何?

事實上,DAIMLERCHRYSLER的發言人表示,省油效應固然重要,但不代表它是唯一的應對之道。目前Hybrid技術對車廠和消費者來說,離完全普及化的境界還有一大段距離,去年Hybrid車款銷售量才佔美國市場的1%。推出Hybrid車款是遲早的事,但DAIMLERCHRYSLER還在等待最佳的時機。

在2008年推出第一台Hybrid車款,雖然比其他車廠起步晚、符,但DAIMLERCHRYSLER顯然認為「來的早,不如來的巧」,本持著精打細算的生意頭腦,他們相信兩年後才是推出Hybrid的佳績。但是環保人士和Hybrid的專家們又是怎樣看待這個決定?

雖然DAIMLERCHRYSLER選擇在Hybrid起飛的瞬間加入市場,但天下沒有白吃的午餐,那些早它一步的車廠,或許沒有即時的利益回收,但在開發供給線和顧客忠實度兩大方向,卻比DAIMLERCHRYSLER多了更多耕耘的時間,仔細推斷,但問收割時分,又是誰家的成果來的豐厚?
