    美國冰凍柴油車款,HONDA越冷越開花

一直以來,大多數的消費者對於柴油的偏見,來自於車尾冒著黑煙的卡車與貨櫃車,殊不知現今科技不但替「柴油」改頭換面,更將它塑造成新一代的「省油救世主」,與E85酒精燃料、氫氣燃料、以及燃料電池共享省油的盛名。

但是柴油引擎排放的一氧化二氮,卻讓世界最大的汽車市場,美國,對它敬而遠之,原因無他,自然是與環保概念相抵觸。截至今日,尚未有車廠能夠製造出符合美國加州、以及東北部各州,廢氣管制標準的柴油車款。

可別小看這些州政府,他們訂下的標準可是比聯邦政府還要嚴格,就連最大的柴油車款製造商,如VW和DAIMLERCHRYSLER都不得其門而入,規則的挑剔程度可見一斑。不過有消息指出,日系血統的HONDA找到了控制煙霧排放的辦法了!

HONDA研發的系統,能夠有效的將一氧化二氮與氧氣在氣體狀態下分離,然後產生的一氧化氫可由強鹼性金屬吸收。如果這個系統通過檢驗,HONDA的柴油車款,將成為第一輛通過美國廢氣污染法規的車子。
