HONDA低成本Hybrid車款，即將在2009年於美國問市！

HONDA汽車營運資深副總裁John Mendal ，在一場於美國密西根州舉行的會議中，公佈了一項大家期待已久的好消息。在2009年HONDA將會推出低成本的Hybrid車款，滿足大眾對環保省油汽車的需求。

Mendal強調現在盛行於歐州的低污染柴油科技，也將在2009年以前與美國人民見面。到底污染程度有多低呢？這麼說吧！這種全新的四缸引擎，就連加州超高的廢氣排放標準門檻都能輕鬆跨過，即使是更大的V6柴油引擎也能通過測試，其「乾淨度」可見一斑。

HONDA對於綠色環保運動的推動，不只著重在Hybrid技術上，現正進行中的氫氣燃料車款的研發也極具引響力。美國境內現在共有15台HONDA氫氣燃料車，其中有一輛更深入美國家庭，為一個加洲的家庭所擁有。這些為數不多的氫氣燃料車，將會為HONDA新一代的氫氣車款提供寶貴的資訊，可望在2009年正式生產。
