誰擁有世界第一台HONDA氫氣車？Spallino家族歡慶一周年！

美國HONDA也出了個「第一家庭」，而且形象比目前入主白宮的布希家族要「健康」許多。這個HONDA的第一家庭，是居住在洛杉機的Spallino家族，可別因為他們不及美國總統位高權重就大小眼，Spallino可是全世界第一個擁有HONDA氫氣燃料車的一般家庭。值得慶祝的是，上星期正是Spallino擁有這台集環保、前衛於一身的FCX氫氣燃料車的一周年記念日！
在過去一年裡，這台FCX不但陪著Spallino一家四口上山下海、到處旅行，更滿足了他們日常生活的需求，譬如去超市買東西、載女兒去練足球、或著開車上班...等等，這些點點滴滴累積的經驗，不但豐富了Spallino一家的生活，更為HONDA提供了寶貴的實例資訊，讓他們在研發氫氣燃料技術時，能夠有更大的精進與突破。而我之所以會提到FCX「豐富了Spallino一家的生活」，不是沒有原因的。
身為HONDA的「第一家庭」，Spallino雖然無需忙於國事，但是駕著一台稀有先進的車款開在路上，想要不引人注目都難。所以Spallino經常會遇到好奇的民眾上前尋問究竟這台FCX開起來的感覺為何？這些人之中，也不乏開口要求「上車體驗一下」的朋友。Jon Spallino對與大眾的關心程度，驚訝不已。
「我根本沒想到開著FCX會招來這麼多的關切和尋問度。雖然它（氫氣燃料）在現階段還是一項開發中的技術，但是我們從未發現什麼問題，它具備一切我們所需的舒適與方便。」Spallino強調。加州州長阿諾在2005年四月誓言要在2010年以前，打造一條「氫氣燃料公路」，解決駕駛氫氣燃料的車主找不到加油站的煩惱，讓更多的民眾能夠效法Spallino，擠身「氫氣車一族」。
