HONDA的決心，日之丸噴射機科技的只是開端

HONDA創辦人本田宗一郎生前的夢想，就是要將領域拓展至陸海空，這項成果終於在日前達成，暱稱為「日之丸噴射機」終於正式誕生，但這對HONDA來說卻只是21世紀科技的開始。

打從1962年，本田宗一郎就對外宣布要進軍航空事業領域，然而他老人家尚未看到成果就在20世紀的80年代過世，44年來在秉持本田宗一郎遺願的後繼者努力下，終於開花結果，但對於現任社長福井威夫而言，這卻僅是開端，接下來還要創造滿足人類需求的高科技。

因此在福井威夫的規劃下，第二代ASIMO更為人性化，甚至能作蛇行小跑步，Hybrid系統行駛範圍和作動功率更好，並朝低價化前進，此外，Drive by Wire線傳控制也將陸續變成HONDA全車系標準配備，同時致力於柴油引擎和生物燃料的開發，這一切都與本田宗一郎的夢有關，舉凡會動的、與發動機有關的，都是本田宗一郎希望觸及的領域。

所以說44年前宣示前進航空領域的決心，終於在今天實現，這代表HONDA的未來仍以科技與人性化為優先考量，並帶給全人類最便利的生活形態。
