注意！HONDA Minivan未來沒有三角窗副支柱

在空調不流行的年代，汽車幾乎都有三角窗，為了就是通風，但現在則成為單廂休旅車的必要設計，不過HONDA卻要將副支柱廢除，這到底是.....。

根據日本HONDA表示，過去保留三角窗副支柱是為了強化車體結構，並減少駕駛人的視野死角，然而在複合材質技術進步後，車體設計多能符合安全標準，而用焊接的三角窗副支柱可能因撞擊而造成乘員二度傷害，有鑑於此HONDA決定針對日後所有單廂休旅車，全部取消此一結構。

以最新發表的第二代Stream為例，車體已經取消焊接式三角窗副支柱，雖然車門面積較一般房車大，但靠著強化材質的幫助，強度絕不亞於三角窗支柱結構，且這樣的設計可有效降低成本，無須在三角窗部分作焊接。此外，車體側邊向來為「口」字型設計，也改為「日」字型，也就是增加B柱結構，如此一來讓單廂休旅車更為安全。

目前HONDA在日本的單廂休旅車包含Mobilio、Edix、Stepwagon、Odyssey、Elysion，短時間內並不會有大改款動作，最快也必須等到今年底吧！
