    HONDA S2000後繼車1-2年後確定量產,2.0升心臟轉速最高9000rpm!

於千禧年誕生的S2000,可是HONDA展現跑車實力的產品,無論在操控性能、樂趣乃至於改裝空間,都造成車壇一陣譁然,縱使在2008年之前歷經兩次小改款,並進行動力心臟的調校,但對市場來說新鮮度略嫌不足,因此原廠正積極投入開發後繼車款的事宜,最快2009年就可看到雛型。

雖然S2000在推出後造成轟動,然而雙門雙座敞篷設計,再加上不算便宜的身價,跑車市場雖比起SUV當道時要許成長,但歐美日競爭對手越來越多,且2006年起能源危機正式浮出檯面,並需要面對各國日漸嚴苛的環保法規,因此讓HONDA一度決定不再研發S2000的後繼車種。不過歐美日等國家的戰後嬰兒潮已陸續退休,而四大金磚的消費能力驚人,HONDA於2007年中便成立研發小組,預計在2009或2010年左右讓全新S2000後繼車登場。

根據了解,其實S2000後繼車的底盤平台結構將與下一代NSX共用,不過軸距上會縮小許多,原本電動軟頂的設計將由硬頂摺疊式取代,所以能同時擁有雙門與敞篷的型態;內裝座椅則從雙座變成2+2,但HONDA為了搶攻中高價位市場,目前純正四座也納入考慮規劃中。而動力方面將搭載2.0升自然進氣最強的F20C引擎,運轉紅線區可達9000rpm,估計具有270hp/32.0kgm的實力,六速手排與五速手自排都會是變速系統的選擇。

早在多年前就曾傳聞S2000後繼車將採用Hybrid系統,並具有四輪驅動功能,然而隨著TOYOTA與SUBARU將共同開發FR小跑車,NISSAN也積極投入Siliva後繼車發展行列,MITSUBISHI GTO、MAZDA RX-7等FR新跑車均陸續開發中,因此HONDA決定捨棄高成本的Hybrid,改以回歸到樂趣掛帥的FR模式,看來在2009-2010年日本跑車將會更加熱鬧。
