快到不行！HONDA Mean Mower以187.60km/h樹立地表最速割草機金氏世界紀錄

極力想找回過去熱血形象的HONDA，在各方面的宣傳可說是都下足了功夫，不過除了汽車與機車品牌以之外，HONDA就連割草機也不放過，在2013年十，HONDA就曾將旗下量產型割草機HF2026，打造出一款名為Mean Mower的超高速割草機。不過這邊的超高速可不是指它割草很快，而是〝跑很快〞。
然而HONDA為了證明Mean Mower的實力絕對不是「老王賣瓜自賣自誇」，於是便找來了最具公信力的金氏世界紀錄來進行挑戰，在先前就於西班牙的一座測試賽道當中，Mean Mower飆上187.60km/h的極速，成功打破前任最速割草機在2010年所寫下的141.35km/h紀錄，一口氣將破紀錄門檻提高了40km/h之多。
Mean Mower乃是HONDA與Team Dynamics車隊合作之下的成果，以HONDA原有的HF2620割草機為基礎，重新打造一個兼具輕量化與強度的底盤的，同時換掉原有排氣量614c.c.、最大馬力僅20的V2引擎，換上HONDA VTR Firestorm的1000c.c.引擎，創造出一輛擁有109hp最大馬力、9.8kgm峰值扭力的割草機！除了動力性能今人之外，其速度表現更是讓人咋舌，可在4秒內完成0-90km/h衝刺。而在HONDA Yuasa Racing駕駛員，三屆BTCC冠軍車手Matt Neal以及衛冕冠軍Gordon Shedden的建議之下，Mean Mower還搭載了Cobra所打造的客製化運動化座椅、附有方向盤換檔撥片六速變速箱、Scorpion排氣系統以及Morris Minor的方向盤轉向系統。
不過Mean Mower可沒有讓割草的能力打折扣，其能夠在15mph的速度下進行割草的工作，具備兩具轉速擁有4000rpm的電動馬達，用來帶動3mm的割草鋼纜，而草屑則會吸到後面的集中袋，在這樣高規格的性能之下，Mean Mower割草的實力是原先HF2620的兩倍。
