    HONDA F1賽車大觀(1):夢的起點─RA271(1964)

相信對於喜歡HONDA、同時又愛看F1賽事的車迷來說,HONDA將在2015年重拾引擎供應商的身份並且與McLAREN再度攜手合作,絕對是令人感到相當興奮的事。以機車起家的HONDA,在機車賽事領域成名的相當早,在知名的曼島TT與許多機車賽事都有著不錯的成績,而在意圖以賽事發展乘用車技術的策略之下,HONDA在1960年代決定挑戰F1賽事;而在2014年的8月份,將會是HONDA正式踏上F1賽場的50周年,趁著這個時機,我們將會帶著讀者們一覽HONDA歷年來的F1戰駒。


HONDA首度參賽是50年前的1964年賽季,1964年8月2日德國站是賽季的第六站賽事,15圈的賽事於相當知名、全長22.810km的紐柏林賽道進行,而這也是HONDA第一輛正式在F1賽事中奔馳的賽車─RA271首度在世人面前亮相的日子。雖然由美國籍車手Ronnie Bucknum所駕駛、第22位起跑的RA271在賽事中遭遇碰撞意外,但最後RA271仍以第13名結尾,即便是在所有14輛完賽的車中的倒數第二,但已經成功贏過一票因機械故障退賽的賽車,讓HONDA在F1的起步有了不算差的開始。

不過在當年接下來HONDA所參加的兩站賽事當中,RA271與Ronnie Bucknum卻都因機械故障而退賽,其中9月份於Monza舉行的義大利站是因為煞車系統故障,而10月份的美國站則是引擎過熱。雖然在踏入F1的第一年HONDA並沒有太漂亮的戰果,但卻不是完全沒收穫,因為除了機械故障之外,RA271其實展現了相當不錯的競爭力。



HONDA RA271所搭載的引擎代號為RA271E,採用60度夾角的V型12缸與橫置設定,擁有1495c.c.的排氣量、具備雙凸輪軸與4汽門,缸徑×衝程則是58.1mm×47.0mm,可輸出220hp/11500rpm的最大馬力,結合六速變速箱後的重量為209kg。至於代號RA271EF的車身底盤則是採用鋁合金材質打造,軸距2300mm、前後輪距分別為1300mm與1350mm,前後懸吊系統均配置雙A臂結構,並使用DUNLOP配胎,油箱容量為130L,全車重量529kg。
