被稱為K-car的輕型車，可說是在日本當地相當重要的級距，也因為如此，每個品牌幾乎都有自家的K-Car產品，即便沒有，也會與其他品牌合作，推出所謂的貼牌車型。而HONDA在2011年東京車展推出的N-Box，便是其下相當重要的K-Car產品，而近日HONDA N-Box車系更是以225,900輛的年度銷售成績登上2013年日本輕型車銷售冠軍。

事實上，N-Box車系自從發表上市之後，就相當受到消費者的矚目，並且呈現熱銷的狀況，也因為如此N-Box車系在2012年就已經是日本輕型車的銷售冠軍，如今再度蟬聯冠軍寶座，更是顯示出日本當地消費者對於這款小車的高度肯定。而根據原廠統計，N-Box從2011年12月上市以來，其累計銷量已經突破了57萬輛。

HONDA N-Box車系包括了N-Box以及N-Box+，其乃是N-Series的首發力作，藉由HONDA最擅長的空間規劃打造出「人、車、生活」的全新標準。3395×1475×1780mm的車身尺碼、2520mm軸距設定搭配豐富的車艙機能變化不僅成功營造出舒適的乘坐感受，並也讓評審一致為「最不受約束的家用車款」。

在環境貢獻部分，全車系均達到「平成17年減碳75%」的低排放認定標準，而全車選用的可回收材質認定上更達到了90%的標準，在品質、實用性與協調性兼具的優質表現下獲得高度的肯定與讚賞。而HONDA在開發N-Box車系時就是以重振品牌K-car級距市場為目標，如今看來，N-Box確實已經達成了原廠所賦予的任務了。
