2014紐約車展搶先報：HONDA參展陣容公佈，再透露新車型導入計畫

猶記2013年12月底時HONDA曾以全新第三代Fit車尾局部廠照的手法，來告知美國消費者即將參展的新車。由於Fit早就在同年9月份於日本當地發表，且全車規格與樣貌也已經對外公開，因此再採用隱藏式的預告手法實在讓人模不著頭緒。現在面對即將到來的2014年紐約車展，HONDA則再次透露新車導入的消息。

HONDA表示2014年紐約車展上，原廠將會提供全新Fit到現場提供消費者觀賞，並預告在2014年冬天會帶來一款全新都會跨界休旅車。此話一出苗頭當然立即指向先前於日本發表的Vezel。此車採用Fit相同底盤平台衍生而來，並有著4290×1770×1605mm、軸距2605mm緊湊的車身大小，並且原廠也早已經透露Vezel會在2014年後走出日本到各地販售的策略。
令外日前更傳出美國HONDA向專利局聲請「HR-V」的車名使用權，據了解這款車的定位是在CR-V之下，就是代表一款尺碼更小的都會跨界車型，且已經擬定好會在HONDA的墨西哥廠生產，而這座廠房也在2014年2月底開始投產全新第三代Fit，主要是用來供應美國當地市場的需求。
總總資料顯示，這款美國預計在2014年底開賣的都會跨界休旅與Vezel有極大的關係，並在美國市場會改以HR-V之名銷售，但弔詭的是原廠卻不願正面回應這樣的推斷，且2014年紐約車展上也不會提供實車來展示，只會先行公佈銷售計畫。當然若HONDA有其它從Fit底盤平台衍生而來的新車型要發展也無可厚非，只是就以現行節省成本為主的開發模式來看，就是Vezel沒錯了！
