    魅力難以招架,HONDA WTCC車手駕Mean Mower力戰Spa賽道

近幾年極力想找回過去熱血形象的HONDA,除了在汽車與機車產品重新武裝之外,就連割草機也不放過,在2013年時HONDA就曾將旗下量產型割草機打造出一款名為Mean Mower的超高速割草機,並於4月初時以187.6km/h正式創下地表最速割草機金氏世界紀錄,當然Mean Mower的魅力有多強大,這次就由WTCC車手Tiago Monteiro來嘗試。

曾活耀於2005年至2006年的F1賽事,西班牙籍的Tiago Monteiro後來便轉戰WTCC,2007年到2012年效力於SEAT Sport team廠隊,並於2012年正式加入 HONDA Racing team,不過相較於BTCC廠隊今年將比賽車輛改為旅行車型Civic Tourer,在WTCC賽事當中仍舊維持以Civic五門掀背車型的基礎做為廠車。

由HONDA與Team Dynamics車隊合作之下的成果,以原有的HF2620割草機為基礎,重新打造出一款兼具輕量化與強度的底盤,並同時換掉原有排氣量614c.c.、最大馬力僅20hp的V2引擎,換上HONDA VTR Firestorm的1000c.c.引擎,創造出一輛擁有109hp最大馬力、9.8kgm峰值扭力的割草機!動力性能驚人之餘,其速度表現更是讓人咋舌,可在4秒內完成0-90km/h衝刺。

當然若與動輒300hp以上、每場賽事平均時速都落在200km/h上下的Civic廠車相比,Mean Mower或許不夠吸引人,但可別忘了這輛割草機可是採開放式的車艙結構設計,2480×1260×1120mm的尺碼可說是比房車還要嬌小了許多,也更不用說在短軸距、輕車身和大馬力的加持下,動力和操控性有多麼的刁鑽,行駛在比利時Spa Francorchamps賽道上相信是樂趣十足。
