踢足球、單腳跳等特技樣樣來，HONDA ASIMO與美國總統歐巴馬相見歡

如果要找一個最能代表HONDA企業精神的形象，那麼ASIMO絕對是最佳選擇之一，ASIMO的誕生除了代表了HONDA在汽、機車以及引擎科技之外，更進一步投注在「追求夢想」、「實現挑戰」的高科技人型機器人領域，讓機器人得以早日應用在家庭與生活等實用面，這也是呼應HONDA「The Power Of Dreams」品牌精神的最佳印證。
而在日前美國總統歐巴馬前往日本的訪問行程當中，特別造訪了東京地區相當知名的「日本科學未來館」，而在這裡迎接美國總統歐巴馬的，就是象徵HONDA在機器人工學的最高科技結晶ASIMO。而ASIMO除了以「Mr. President, I am ASIMO, a humanoid robot. It is a pleasure to meet you.」等簡單的句子問候之外，更展現了包括跑步、踢足球以及單腳跳等功能。
相信有去參觀2014年台北國際新車大展的這朋友們，對於在HONDA展區展現跳舞、端茶並與Show Girl與觀眾們進行可愛互動的ASIMO印象仍舊相當深刻。在我們先前的介紹中也曾提過，ASIMO自發表以來也在HONDA的不斷研發之下，一步步進化成現在的模樣。
事實上，HONDA在開發出ASIMO後，它可是以品牌形象大使的身份見遍全球世界各地的達官貴人，不過這卻是它第一次與美國總統見面。
