HONDA日本原廠近日宣布，2009-2010年式Insight獲選進入日本汽車名人堂（Japan Automotive Hall of Fame），此非營利組織說明下三個理由，將此榮譽頒發給Insight。
理由之一是，HONDA的銷售戰略思維，讓Insight的價格維持在極具競爭力的定位，擁有購車能力的消費者都買的起。理由之二是，Insight的駕駛性能與環保性能兼具，讓消費者能夠在享受駕駛樂趣之際，保有燃油使用經濟性與低二氧化碳排放。理由之三是，Insight能夠在性能表現、燃油使用經濟性與高速巡航間取得平衡，要歸功於IMA（Integrated Motor Assist）混合動力系統。
Insight融合緊湊型車身設計、HONDA混合動力系統、駕駛樂趣、車室使用機能等功能於一身，在日本當地的售價從189萬日園起跳，受到日本消費者的青睞，更於今年四月份成為日本史上第一款單月乘用車銷售冠軍的Hybrid車款，此次獲選進入日本汽車名人堂，可說是實至名歸。
