以第六代Accord為基礎針對日本市場所開發的Avancier，在1999年誕生，嚴格來說算是Accord和Odyssey的綜合體，造型上介於旅行車和Minivan之間，寬敞車艙配置雙排五座，動力完全和Accord共用，最後因產品定位不明且缺乏個性，僅在日本市場生存一個世代於2003年停產。
從2765mm軸距獲得4700×1790×1500mm尺碼的Avancier，是以「頂級豪華」為開發概念，內裝配備比起Accord和Odtssey都來得豐富，並導入諸多歐系高級車的元素，以寬敞視野和明亮車室為優先考量，行李廂能擺入四套高爾夫球具藉由第二排椅背前傾後，可創造多元空間。共有黑色和米色兩種內裝的Avancier，除了恆溫空調、衛星導航、音響、皮革座椅等行頭外，HONDA還提供一套名為IHCC（Intelligent Highway Cruise Control）智慧型定速巡航系統給車主選擇。
由於和Accord系出同門，因此動力部分也提供兩種相同引擎設定，基本款為2253cc直列四缸SOHC VTEC引擎，具有150hp/5800rpm、21.0kgm/4800rpm功率輸出，並和四速自排變速箱組合，頂級與美規Accord 3.0同為2997cc V6 VTEC引擎，調校下獲得215hp/5800rpm馬力和27.7kgm/5000rpm扭力，變速系統則升級為五速自排。除了前輪驅動外，部分等級也可選擇四輪驅動系統。前雙A臂、後五連桿的懸吊結構，提供駕駛人和乘員最快意舒適的樂趣。
然而Avancier問世後並沒有獲得市場熱烈迴響，主要在於定位不明確，又和Accord Wagon與Odyssey打對台，雖說具備跨界特質，卻難以吸引消費者注意，最後在2003年消失於HONDA的新車開發名單中。
