    HONDA第五代Legend油電+4WD確定,沒有日本製改由美國來

雖然貴為旗鑑,但HONDA Legend與其分身ACURA RL在銷售上似乎吃不開,除了受日圓匯率影響價格朝歐系高級車逼近讓消費者卻步,8年來未曾大改款也讓Legend與RL失去魅力,不過據最新獨家情報指出,第五代Legend將於2012年四月的紐約車展以概念車身分發表,年底洛杉磯車展或者2013年底特律車展則發表量產版。

2004年10月問世的第四代Legend,配置SH-AWD驅動系統,且為了提升戰力於2008年將3.7L心臟增加馬力至309hp,甚至2010年也換上HONDA首度採用的六速自排變速箱,但卻也喚不回日本消費者的心,2011年每月平均銷售量僅36輛,成績比2010年減少3.2﹪,美國市場的ACURA RL狀況也不盡理想,主要是對手輩出且民眾追求節能目的,只有一具3.7L大排氣量引擎的RL處於劣勢,原本HONDA計畫在2008年推出第五代Legend,卻不幸碰上雷曼兄弟所造成的金融海嘯,導致整個開發計畫凍結拖延到2012年。

根據AutoNet汽車日報所取得的獨家消息,預計2012年4月紐約車展以概念車身發表的第五代Legend/ACURA RL,將回歸原本FF設定,結構複雜、成本較高的SH-AWD將被捨棄,取而代之可能是電動馬達驅動的e-4WD,也就是如TOYOTA Estima Hybrid相同的系統,動力則為3.7L V6汽油引擎,推估將擁有340-350hp馬力。至於科技配備和安全行頭部分,前後左右4顆CCD鏡頭(停車導引)、盲點偵測警示、14個揚聲器、19吋鋁合金輪圈、電子式駐車煞車、車道偏移警示等都將納入清單中。

此外,Legend也將移師美國生產,主要是希望能藉由在地化生產來貼近消費者,同時在2011年311東日本強震與泰國洪災嚴重損失,讓HONDA決定要分散風險,所以接下來HONDA阿拉巴馬廠將生產Legend與RL,並分別銷售到北美、墨西哥、日本和中國等市場,至於台灣…恐怕不會列入考量。
