    日本名車系列(48)-HONDA Accord

在HONDA的戰略中,Civic與Accord可是擄獲全球消費者購買慾的重要車款,尤其在Civic推出成功後,讓原廠對房車的開發更具信心,因此在1976年開發出Accord,而初期只有三門掀背一種型態,四門與五門車型則隔年的事情。

基本上第一代Accord等於是Civic的放大版,因為仍屬於三門掀背造型設計,但尺寸放大至4125×1620×1340mm,並增加軸距至2380mm後,乘坐舒適性和氣派度亦大舉提升,然而對HONDA和消費者而言,掀背車永遠不及四門來得豪華,因此在1977年追加四門和五門掀背兩種車款,以符合市場需求。

其實在競爭的年代,HONDA Accord的確有許多傲人創舉,如速度感應式動力方向盤、CVCC高效率引擎、輕量化車體結構、強調操控大於舒適的設計等,而這一切也都遵循本田宗一郎的夢想前進,所以在推出之際,確實獲得市場不小的迴響,尤其是三門掀背更深受年輕族群喜愛。

動力方面共有直四SOHC 1599cc、1750cc兩種排氣量,而當時所開發的CVCC與單化油器的組合也是動力心臟要素,因此兩者的最大輸出功率分別為80hp/12.3kgm、90hp/13.5kgm,除了五速手排變速系統外,還有一具便利掛帥的兩速自排系統。1979年,則將自排變速系統作升級,改成附有OD檔的三速設定。

1981年掀背與四門Accord都進入大改款週期,從此Accord也等同於HONDA的代表作,當然也奠定日後立足全球的遠大夢想。
